Counting Our Blessings! Anyway.
A long radio silence of more than half a year has a good reason, but that certainly does not mean that nothing beautiful has happened during that time!
Food distribution? We managed to provide the same or even a larger volume of food aid with lower direct costs and less physical effort on our part, by working through volunteers in various churches who are able to build direct relationships!

Support for Ukrainian refugees? In the last week of August, we had the privilege of organizing the very first fully fledged children’s camp at Lake EPIC, south of Poznań — the conference center that Evangelical Poland purchased at the beginning of this year and that has been undergoing continuous transformation ever since.
A camp for 60 children, the vast majority of whom arrived in Poland as refugees in 2022. For Bread of Life, the organization was a challenge, but with a wonderful program and several children whose lives were visibly changed during the camp… it turned out to be an incredible success, for which we are deeply grateful!

The grant project “Under Wings” has really taken off, and we are thankful for all the new mentoring relationships that have been formed. Every day, in our new office, we see “our” teenagers walking in for sessions with their mentors or specialists involved in the project — offering career guidance, psychological support, or many other forms of engagement to truly help them move forward!

And speaking of our new office — every day we work there, we realize the blessing of having such a beautiful, suitable, and functional space in such a fantastic location. On November 14, we celebrated its official opening, right in the middle of growing tension about the future of Bread of Life in Poznań. Still, it was a joyful celebration, and even now the prevailing thought is that this blessing is no mistake — that we may hope for an even more positive destiny for this office that the city has made available to us in such a wonderful way.

Despite everything, we look back on 2025 with gratitude. And as is so often said — now we say it too, in confidence: The best is yet to come!
